Taking methotrexate and zopiclone together can increase the risk of side effects from both medications, particularly affecting your central nervous system. You may feel much more drowsy, dizzy, or confused than usual. There is also a small risk that methotrexate could affect how your liver processes zopiclone, potentially making the sedative effects last longer.

Why this happens
Both drugs are processed by the liver. Methotrexate can sometimes cause liver stress or changes in enzyme activity, which may slow down the breakdown of zopiclone. Additionally, both drugs can have 'additive' effects on the brain, increasing sedation.
What you should do
