Can I take Allerwel am and Pantocid iv together?

There are no known direct interactions between the ingredients in Allerwel AM and Pantocid IV. However, because Allerwel AM contains an antihistamine (levocetirizine), some people may experience mild drowsiness, which is unrelated to the Pantocid.

Why this happens

Allerwel AM contains levocetirizine (an antihistamine) and ambroxol (a mucus thinner). Pantocid IV contains pantoprazole (a proton pump inhibitor). These medications are processed by different pathways in the body and do not interfere with each other's effectiveness or safety.

You can safely take these medications together as prescribed by your doctor. If you feel unusually sleepy or dizzy, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medications affect you.
