Why this happens
Evening primrose oil is a source of omega-6 fatty acids (gamma-linolenic acid), while vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin. Because vitamin D3 requires fat to be absorbed properly by the body, taking it alongside a fatty acid supplement like evening primrose oil may actually help your body absorb the vitamin D more effectively.
